This is a branding project for cosmetic brand ‘Georganic’. As a clean beauty brand, Georganic crafts its products with a wide range of different natural ingredients. Brenden engaged in the overall brand design process including identity design, graphic system development, container design, package design and photo directing with intent to deliver Georganic’s brand philosophy.
Using the ‘Maison Neue Extended Book’ relevant to Sanserif typefaces, we focused on developing a plain but perfect word-type logo giving a simple and clean impression. Also, we developed pictograms symbolizing the natural ingredients to highlight the distinctiveness of each product within limited rules.
Visual & Graphic System
To accentuate the distinctive natural ingredients characterizing Georganic’s products, we developed the ‘organic shape’ as the graphic motif that could diversify the atypical shapes of nature as well as the ingredient-specific ‘color palette’ and applied both to overall product design. The developed ‘organic shape’ in combination with the ‘color palette’ engendered the graphic system, reinforcing the characteristics of each product.
To maximize the customer experience of the attributes of each product on their opening the package, we adopted the split package structure. The neat white exterior consistently carries the logo, product info and pictogram, while the interior shows the distinctiveness of each product with the ‘color palette’ indicating the main ingredient and the ‘organic shape’.
